Rubbermaid Uses EasyFindLids.com To Market New Product

Watching television the other night I saw Rubbermaid using EasyFindLids.com to promote their new product line of storage containers that feature lids that snap together and snap to the bottom of the container it fits. The domain name 302 redirects to their main site located here: http://www.rubbermaid.com/Category/Pages/Category.aspx?CatName=FoodStorage

Good to see yet another company understand that owning and marketing the domain name of their product name to the masses is much easier than trying to push consumers to a URL such as: Rubbermaid.com/EasyFindLids

Product Listing Ads From Google AdWords Expands For U.S. Users

Google AdWords Blog has announced that their new Product Listings Ads product will be expanded to more U.S. users in search results.

They note that the key features for advertisers are:

Pay only for results: Product Listing Ads are charged on a cost-per-action (CPA) basis, which means that you only pay when a user clicks on your ad and completes a purchase on your site. Because Product Listing Ads is charged on a CPA basis, it offers a risk-free way for you to reach a larger audience on Google.com.

List your entire inventory: Product Listing Ads requires no keywords or additional ad text. Whenever a user enters a search query relevant to an item in your Google Merchant Center account, Google will automatically show the most relevant products along with the associated image, price and product name. Product Listing Ads makes it easy for you to promote your entire product inventory on Google.com.

Also check out where the advertisers domain is displayed, right next to the image. Replace Example6.com with BabyStrollers.com and that is a very enticing ad for a consumer to interact with.

halvarez

In case you haven’t heard, Halvarez was the account name on Snapnames for company VP Nelson Brady that was participating in shill bidding on Snapnames auctions. By doing so it increased company profits and aggravated domainers in bidding wars. You can read all about it with these Google Blog Search results and get informed about the situation.

But back to the title of this blog post.

Halvarez.com appears to be setup as a make shift article blog about domaining. The domain was registered Sept, 2006 and the site  meta description states:
